Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Welcome to SubSense – Subscription Organizer. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our mobile application. By accessing or using SubSense, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the SubSense application (“the App” or “Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App and delete it from your device immediately.
2. Description of Service
SubSense is a utility application designed to help users analyze and organize their YouTube subscriptions. The App provides insights based on your subscription data to help you identify inactive channels and manage your feed. All data processing occurs locally on your device.
3. Privacy and Data Usage
Your privacy is critically important to us. Our data collection and use policies are set forth in our Privacy Policy. By using SubSense, you agree that we may use your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which emphasizes local, on-device storage and strictly user-confirmed account actions.
4. User Conduct
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Using the App in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the App.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the App or its underlying APIs.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App, related systems, or networks.
- Using the App to distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
- Reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, or reselling any portion of the App without explicit permission.
5. Google Sign-In and YouTube API Compliance
SubSense utilizes Google Sign-In and the YouTube Data API v3. By using SubSense, you also agree to be bound by:
SubSense uses the youtube.readonly scope to read your subscription list, and the youtube.force-ssl scope for exactly one kind of action: unsubscribing you from channels you have explicitly selected and individually confirmed in the app (and, if you tap Undo right after a removal, re-subscribing you to those same channels). SubSense never unsubscribes automatically, never subscribes you to new channels, and makes no other changes to your account. You can also continue to manage your subscriptions manually in the official YouTube app or website at any time.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
SubSense is free to use. Smart categories, the feed activity analyzer, Feed Wrapped, Year in Review, Roast My Feed and tags are all free, and unsubscribing from inside the app is free for your first 10 channels.
SubSense Pro lifts that limit. On both iOS and Android it is offered in three forms:
- SubSense Pro Monthly – an auto-renewing subscription billed every month.
- SubSense Pro Annual – an auto-renewing subscription billed every 12 months.
- SubSense Pro Lifetime – a one-time purchase that does not renew.
All purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see or handle your payment details, and the exact price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm anything.
Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. Your Apple ID or your Google Play account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the price shown for your plan.
How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, in the store you bought from. On iOS: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select SubSense. On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select SubSense. You can also reach the same screen from SubSense’s own Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Changing plans. You can switch between monthly and annual, or move to the lifetime unlock, at any time. Switching to the lifetime unlock does not automatically cancel an active subscription – cancel it separately in your Apple ID settings or in Google Play if you no longer want it to renew.
Refunds. Purchases are made through the app store you bought from, so refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, not by us. Apple requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
Changes to pricing. If we change the price of an auto-renewing plan, the store will notify existing subscribers and ask for consent before the new price takes effect. An existing SubSense Pro Lifetime purchase is unaffected by any later price change.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SubSense and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. YouTube and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. SubSense makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App or the information, content, or materials included therein. You expressly agree that your use of the App is at your sole risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SubSense, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SubSense and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses resulting from or arising out of your use and access of the Service, or a breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
